Former Actors Guild of Nigeria president Emeka Rollas has apologised to Regina Daniels, her mother Rita Daniels, and Senator Ned Nwoko.
Rollas said time had made him look again at how he spoke during the actress’s marital crisis in November 2025. “Being right about an issue does not necessarily mean we handled it the right way,” he wrote, as quoted by Punch.
He said a chance meeting with Rita Daniels, where people tried to make peace, pushed the apology. Pulse reported the same encounter as the prompt.
The apology also names the AGN Board of Trustees, Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danji, Agility and Nazareth Jesse. Punch quoted him saying “I am sorry,” and that acceptance is their decision, not a condition of the post.
