Welcome to Naijahousegist, your home for Nigerian entertainment gist, served fresh and served right.
We cover the stories you are already talking about: BBNaija housemates and evictions, new music drops, Nollywood releases, celebrity news and gospel music. If it is trending in Naija entertainment, we are on it.
What we do
We bring you the gist fast, but we do not cut corners. Every story is checked against primary sources, such as an artist’s verified account, an official statement or the show’s own channels, before we call it confirmed.
When something is still a rumour, we tell you plainly. Those stories carry an UNVERIFIED label, so you always know what is fact and what is still gist.
Every post shows an “As of [time] WAT” stamp, so you can see exactly when the information was current.
What we don’t do
We don’t do politics. This is an entertainment space, and we keep it that way.
We don’t invent quotes, and we don’t pass off screenshots as confirmed facts.
Who we are
Naijahousegist is run by Hyp3r, the editor who never sleeps when the gist is hot. From BBNaija house drama to fresh music drops and Nollywood tea, Hyp3r finds the story, checks the receipts and serves it to you straight. If e dey trend, Hyp3r don already see am.
