Burna Boy is set to host a Grand Theft Auto VI radio station. As of 3:10 a.m. WAT on 9 October 2026, Rockstar had listed him on AfroBank FM, the station built around African music.
Pitchfork reported on 8 October that GTA VI programming includes AfroBank FM, “the best in African music,” from Burna Boy and Palms Trax. Consequence said Burna Boy voices the host character Burna, and Palms Trax voices Palmsy.
Consequence described the station as “Turn up the gbedu with Burna and Palmsy,” covering African music from older classics to amapiano and 3-step. The named tracks in that report include Asake’s “Joha”, Pat Thomas with Ebo Taylor on “Gye Wan”, and DJ Lag and Robot Boii with Kamo Mphela on “Shay’sana”.
Pitchfork said other hosts include Bad Bunny and RaiNao on Cocoteo FM, Robyn and Alex Consani on Flash FM, Kerry King and Tom Araya on The Chamber 106.6, Trick Daddy and Trina on Dirty South Classics, and Morgan Wallen with Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene on Back Country Radio. Complex flagged the same host list on X on 8 October.
Pitchfork put the game’s release at 19 November. No separate Burna Boy statement on the role had been cited by Pitchfork or Consequence at the time of this scan. The claim rests on Rockstar’s station reveal, as reported by those outlets.
