Tems has named Sade as her ultimate dream musical collaborator. She said it in a short “7 questions to get to know me” video with EE72 that AlbumTalks shared on 13 October 2026.
“Sade is like my ultimate dream,” she said. She also named Frank Ocean’s Nostalgia, Ultra as her favourite album of all time.
She starts most mornings with a silent prayer before she gets out of bed, then a shower. If she were not making music at all, she said she would probably be in the arts — painting or making clothes, something with her hands.
The last time she was starstruck was meeting Barack and Michelle Obama. She thought she would walk in cool. Instead she found herself laughing at everything he said, “with all 32 of my teeth.” She said she had never done that in her life.
On food, she called Nigeria the country with the best food, even if some people might not be used to it. “There’s nothing like Nigerian food,” she said. She also defended London, saying the idea that it has no good food is propaganda.
Her three in-flight essentials are earphones, her iPad, and her journal.
The clip is the short Q&A version. A separate EE72 cover interview published around the same time has her describing her second album as more R&B, melancholic, and mellow. She has not given that album a title or release date yet.
