Tems is in the studio on her second album and describes it as “definitely more R&B leaning. It’s more melancholic. It’s like a river, it’s very smooth. It’s very mellow, lo-fi.” She told EE72 in a cover interview published October 12. As of 4:00 PM West African Time WAT on October 13, 2026, there is still no title, release date or lead single.
The description sits closer to the downtempo cut “What You Need” from her November 2025 EP Love Is A Kingdom than to the rest of that project. Her last full album, Born in the Wild, arrived in 2024. Check EE72 or Tems’ accounts for any further studio updates or title reveal.
