Felabration 2026 takes place from October 12 to 18 at the New Afrika Shrine in Ikeja under the theme “Who Are You.” Headline sets come from Femi Kuti and The Positive Force, Made Kuti, and Seun Kuti and Egypt 80. As of 6pm WAT the week-long programme also includes art, fashion, dance and discussions built around Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s legacy.
Guest artistes already named include Apala exponent Musiliu Haruna Ishola, Terry Apala, Atawewe, Ice Prince, Slimcase, Kleva Jay, Ceeza Milli, T.Classic, Sunkey Snoop, Soundboi and Labule, with more names still expected. The Dress Fela fashion show opens activities on Saturday. Yeni Kuti, co-manager of the Shrine, said the festival continues to draw visitors from around the world and keeps Nigerian culture in the spotlight.
The event has run annually since 1998 as the main public celebration of Fela’s music, politics and style. Tickets and day-by-day schedules are still circulating through the official channels.
