Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie said he met Tony Elumelu in a suit store in London and heard that the Nigerian businessman is funding a Nigerian artiste he believes is the future of Afrobeats. The amount involved is huge, according to Sarkodie. The clip began spreading on Monday 19 October 2026.
Sarkodie recalled that Elumelu remembered booking him for a bank end-of-year party years ago. He did not name the Nigerian artiste in the available clips.
