Yetunde Barnabas says film critic Ajefunke Kofoshi was picked up and arrested after their dispute over her film Ojise. The Nollywood actress and producer first announced on social media that they had faced off legally, Kofoshi admitted wrongdoing, and she let it go for peace.
Hours later Kofoshi shared a video of the two together and wrote that Yetunde invited her not arrested. Yetunde responded directly that Kofoshi was arrested, begged, admitted her wrongdoing, and asked for a video which she agreed to after cautioning her against cursing people again.
The original clash began when Kofoshi criticised Ojise, which Yetunde said she produced on a N30 million budget, and accused the critic of bullying and discrediting her work. Yetunde had earlier alleged a hate group targeting her projects. As of early morning WAT on October 16 the arrest claims remain based on the two women’s posts and have not been independently confirmed by police statements.
